AI Research Scientist

Location: On-site in Brooklyn, New York

Salary: $150,000–$400,000 annually plus equity

hirify.global Labs builds AI detection systems, publishes research on AI detection techniques, and develops products for everyday use.

What you will do

• Train large-scale deep learning models to detect AI-generated content.
• Create synthetic datasets at scale and run research experiments.
• Develop new approaches to improve model accuracy and reliability.
• Publish research through technical papers, whitepapers, and blog posts.
• Work with engineering and product teams to turn research into product features and communicate results to non-technical audiences.
• Ship production code, deploy models, and build AI infrastructure.

Requirements

• Ph.D. and/or 3–5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, NLP, or a related field.
• First-author publications at major AI venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR, or significant contributions to AI products.
• Deep understanding of generative models.
• Experience training neural networks at scale with PyTorch.
• Familiarity with recent technical developments in large language models.
• Ability to work on-site in Brooklyn, New York.

Nice to have

• Experience with synthetic data, adversarial robustness, or interpretability.
• Experience or publications in NLP or computational linguistics.
• Experience with AI infrastructure or distributed systems.
