AI Research Scientist (New Grad)

What you will do

• Design agentic frameworks with recursive self-improvement loops.
• Build and evaluate auto research agents that formulate hypotheses, run experiments, and synthesize findings.
• Develop coding agents capable of understanding, generating, and debugging code across multi-step programming tasks.
• Research reinforcement learning methods including RLHF, DPO, and PPO to align and improve agentic behavior.
• Contribute to multi-agent systems in which specialized agents collaborate, negotiate, and self-organize.
• Develop and curate synthetic and human-annotated training data pipelines for agentic AI and reinforcement learning research.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, either recently completed, in progress, or equivalent research experience.
• Foundational knowledge of reinforcement learning algorithms, RLHF, DPO, PPO, or multi-agent systems.
• Research experience in LLM post-training, fine-tuning, or reasoning model development.
• Experience implementing and experimenting with agentic architectures, including tool use, planning, and self-correction loops.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one deep learning framework, with PyTorch or JAX preferred.
• At least one first-author or co-authored publication or preprint in a relevant AI or ML area.

Nice to have

• Experience building or evaluating coding agents or auto research agents.
• Familiarity with recursive self-improvement frameworks or automated AI scientist paradigms.
• Experience with large-scale distributed or efficient training.
• Background in mathematical reasoning, structured decision-making, or program synthesis.
• Experience applying AI to healthcare, finance, or enterprise workflows.
