Member of Technical Staff (AI Research)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Base salary: $10,000 per month

What you will do

• Architect and execute foundational research advancing model reasoning and intelligence at scale.
• Own the full research-to-production lifecycle and deploy research into live systems.
• Design and iterate on high-impact datasets, benchmarking programs, alignment strategies, safety approaches, and reward signals with advanced AI research teams.
• Identify, scope, and manage long-running research projects focused on scaling data for AGI and ASI.
• Collaborate on data pipelines, internal tooling, and high-performance deep learning implementations.
• Build large-scale agent systems, including orchestration frameworks, tool APIs, distributed execution, observability, and logging infrastructure.

Requirements

• Deep research expertise in a related field such as computer science, machine learning, or NLP; major-conference publication experience is expected.
• Proven ability to productize research, including advanced post-training, distillation, high-stakes evaluation, large-scale benchmarking, and product feature development.
• Experience shipping research directly to production and live systems.
• Experience with large-scale agent systems, orchestration frameworks, tool APIs, distributed execution, observability, and logging infrastructure.
• Experience advising on or shaping governmental policy related to AI safety and governance is required.
