Principal Product Architect (Data)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States. The role requires authorization under U.S. Government international trade regulations: applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.

Salary: $108,496.89–$149,183.22 annually, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of enterprise data architecture strategy.
• Oversee complex, enterprise-wide data initiatives, including data and integration platform design.
• Develop strategic blueprints, roadmaps, data models, patterns, and architecture standards.
• Drive alignment among senior leadership, architects, subject-matter experts, and the Enterprise PMO.
• Ensure data solutions meet enterprise architecture, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Mentor IT teams and promote data-driven innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; without a degree, 16 years of related experience is required.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or a related field.
• Expertise with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and experience with capability planning and IT-to-business strategy alignment.
• Experience drafting reference architectures, designing and integrating applications, managing vendors, and building data and integration platforms.
• At least 5 years of hands-on data management experience covering areas such as ingestion, ETL, data modeling, profiling, quality, metadata, master data management, and business intelligence.
• Database management experience across on-premises or cloud environments, plus strong strategic, analytical, leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or enterprise architecture certification such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Experience with cloud technologies and migrations, Agile, DevOps, ERP systems, application modernization, and abstract modeling.
• Data management experience across both on-premises and cloud environments.
