Cybersecurity Analyst (DoD)

What you will do

• Support ISSMs and ISSOs across a portfolio of tactical Army programs.
• Implement DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures for information systems and Platform IT systems.
• Coordinate corrective actions and protective measures in response to cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Review penetration test, static code analysis, and vulnerability scan reports.
• Analyze network architectures, data flows, organizational structures, and personnel assignments for security weaknesses.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, SOPs, security policies, RMF artifacts, and other compliance documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• At least 7 years of experience supporting the full cybersecurity lifecycle for DoD systems.
• At least 5 years of progressively complex experience developing, integrating, and implementing cybersecurity and program protection standards.
• Experience with RMF, ATO packages, vulnerability assessments, continuous monitoring, system hardening, and secure coding.
• Familiarity with ACAS, eMASS, and HBSS.
• DoDI 8570 IAM Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, GICSP, SSCP, CND, or CCNA-Security.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, data science, or software engineering.
• Experience securing custom application development environments and applying DevSecOps practices.
