Cloud Engineering Specialist (Platform)

What you will do

• Design and deliver secure, reliable, repeatable platform solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Build, operate, and continuously improve shared platforms, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and testing services.
• Apply Well Architected Framework principles and align solutions with enterprise architecture standards and approved technology patterns.
• Embed security, resilience, compliance, availability, observability, and operational excellence into platform solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, testing, security, operations, and architecture teams to define recommendations, designs, dependencies, risks, and scope.
• Share technical knowledge through documentation, standards, mentoring, architecture governance, and technology advisory work.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing, building, or operating cloud-based and/or on-premises platforms, shared services, DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, or testing services.
• Experience designing secure, resilient, reliable, and compliant systems and supporting their rollout into live environments.
• Understanding of Well Architected Framework principles and enterprise-level solution design.
• Experience with infrastructure automation or infrastructure as code.
• Ability to monitor system health, performance, and reliability and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong documentation, collaboration, technical decision-making, coaching, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with APIs, shared services, regulatory or compliance environments, enterprise architecture, or product roadmaps.
• Exposure to monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, bids, proposals, or business cases.
