Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Salary: $238,100–$442,200 U.S. national base pay range per year; geographic differentials may apply.

What you will do

• Define AI and data science strategy across machine learning, NLP, search, recommendation, experimentation, and generative AI.
• Lead and develop high-performing data science and AI teams through coaching, prioritization, scientific rigor, and inclusive collaboration.
• Deliver knowledge-discovery and AI systems across the lifecycle from experimentation to production, including LLMs, RAG, search, and domain-enriched solutions.
• Establish evaluation frameworks, metrics, experimentation practices, and responsible AI standards.
• Partner with product, technology, and business leaders to shape roadmaps and align technical work with customer and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Significant experience in data science, AI/ML, NLP, information retrieval, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong expertise in machine learning, experimentation, deep learning, generative AI, and production AI systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, semantic search, embeddings, agentic workflows, and knowledge-driven systems.
• Proven success leading and developing technical teams in complex product, platform, or research environments.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and building scalable, maintainable, production-ready AI/ML systems.
• Strong people leadership, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
