Working Student (d/f/m) Simulation Control UI Software Infrastructure (C++)

Location: Manching, Germany; primarily on the company's premises, with mobile working possible by agreement. Start: 01.11.2026. Duration: 12–18 months.

hirify.global develops high-fidelity engineering and training simulations for aircraft development and military flight training.

What you will do

• Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of software build, integration, and test toolchains.
• Contribute to modernizing dependency and package management infrastructure.
• Help enable cross-platform software builds.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable software.
• Analyze and debug software issues and fix bugs using software development best practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time at a university or other higher-education institution in computer science or an equivalent field.
• Practical experience with C++ software development.
• Fluent English.
• Available for approximately 18 hours per week during studies.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Qt and QML.
• Experience with Python and DevOps pipelines, including CMake, Conan, or Jenkins.
