NYMEX Analyst (Commodities)

Salary: $81,000–$121,400 per year

What you will do

• Provide real-time market intelligence and execute commodity trades and hedges for physical positions.
• Act as the internal liaison for Supply and coordinate trade execution with company departments, traders, and brokers.
• Enter futures, options, exchange trades, and in-house trades into the RightAngle system and review activity for accuracy.
• Reconcile internal systems with external broker records and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for risk, trading groups, and management.
• Support risk-policy compliance and provide data for regulatory and audit requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, organization, and real-time problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage large datasets, spreadsheets, graphs, and charts.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes distracting trading-floor environment.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, adaptability, integrity, confidentiality, and teamwork.
• Flexibility in schedule and willingness to learn new systems and responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETRM systems such as RightAngle, Endur, Allegro, or Triple Point.
