Supplier Quality Expeditor (Waste-to-X)

Location: Milano, Italy; hybrid work with home office possible 2 days a week; willingness to travel up to 100% required

Salary: €53,000 gross annual basic wage minimum, with compensation determined by level, skills, experience, and qualifications

What you will do

• Track supplier progress from purchase order through delivery against schedule and quality milestones.
• Conduct site inspections, verify material traceability, supervise welding activities, and check compliance with ITPs, QCPs, and ISO 9001.
• Plan desk and field expediting, assign inspection resources, and distribute reports to stakeholders.
• Build supplier relationships, identify delays early, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare progress updates, verify inspection reports and certifications, and maintain status in project management tools.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or bachelor's degree, NDT qualification at VT, PT, or RT Level 2 minimum, and IWE or EWE welding certification.
• Experience in plant construction involving boilers, steel, apparatus, or pipelines, including coating field knowledge.
• Ability to read technical drawings, interpret manufacturing plans, conduct ITP inspections, and apply EN-ISO, ASME-IX, and PED codes.
• Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, progress monitoring tools, and Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
• English at B2 level or higher, intercultural competence, problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel up to 100%.
