Stage Internal Audit

Location: Milan, Italy; based at hirify.global Headquarters. The role may involve national or international travel.

What you will do

• Support the planning and execution of operational, financial, and compliance audits, risk assessments, and special projects.
• Participate in management interviews, documentation reviews, control testing, and evaluation of business processes against Group policies.
• Identify risks, control gaps, improvement opportunities, and Key Risk Indicators for the Group’s risk management framework.
• Apply Power BI, Qlik, and relevant GenAI tools to audit testing, anomaly detection, and continuous auditing initiatives.
• Maintain the audit documentation repository, including classification, tagging, version control, and access criteria.
• Prepare summaries, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Recent graduate in Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Auditing & Control, or a related field.
• Strong interest in internal audit, risk management, and data analytics, with an analytical and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to organize and interpret large volumes of information, manage multiple activities, and work independently.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Power BI, Qlik, GenAI applications, SAP, or other ERP/GRC systems.
• Previous internship or project experience in an audit firm, consulting firm, or multinational company.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
