What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end redesign of Studio, including information architecture, user flows, interfaces, and interaction details.
- Improve visual quality, usability, discoverability, and the overall experience of an AI-native creative product.
- Translate product goals and constraints into screens, components, prototypes, and developer-ready designs.
- Partner daily with engineers to clarify intent, resolve edge cases, and keep design and implementation aligned.
- Create structured Figma files with components, variants, states, hierarchy, and specifications for efficient handoff.
- Build a scalable design system, validate designs through critiques and quick tests, and use AI tools to accelerate design work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products in UI/UX or product design, with a portfolio of shipped product work.
- Excellent UI craft, including typography, layout, visual hierarchy, interaction design, and detailed polish.
- Advanced Figma skills, including components, variants, auto-layout, states, and developer handoff specifications.
- Experience substantially improving product experiences and taking major surfaces from concept to buildable UI.
- Comfort using AI tools in the design workflow and strong written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, make decisions quickly, and collaborate closely with developers.
Nice to have
- Agency experience delivering digital product, web, or app redesigns for commercial clients.
- Experience designing AI, generative media, SaaS, or creator tools.
- Experience building or maintaining a product design system used by engineering.
