Associate Design Director, Product (Digital Product Design/AI): Establishing design direction for digital products, services and experiences, translating brand and human needs into intuitive interfaces, interactions and scalable design systems with an accent on UI craft, UX, prototyping and AI-enabled workflows. Focus on shaping cross-disciplinary visions, building coherent component and token systems, and maintaining design quality through implementation while mentoring designers.

What you will do
- Establish and own design direction across digital products, services and experiences from early concepts through implementation.
- Translate brand, business and human needs into useful, distinctive interfaces, interactions, motion and behaviours.
- Work hands-on in Figma and contemporary prototyping tools to explore ideas, test interactions and communicate experience concepts.
- Create and evolve scalable, brand-led design systems using components, tokens, automation and AI.
- Lead collaboration between designers, creatives, strategists, experience designers and technologists.
- Maintain design quality through implementation and mentor less experienced designers through feedback and collaboration.
Requirements
- Exceptional digital craft with a strong eye for interface design, typography, interaction, motion and detail.
- Strong design thinking and an ability to connect brand, product, service and experience design.
- Advanced experience with Figma and prototyping as part of the design process.
- Understanding of UX, human-centred design, systems thinking and experience journeys.
- Technical curiosity and the ability to collaborate effectively with people building digital experiences.
- Active use of AI to improve design processes and explore possibilities in products, experiences and systems.

- Ability to contribute across brand, product, service and experience design.
- Experience helping less experienced designers develop through mentoring and constructive feedback.
