What you will do
- Own and continuously improve the end-to-end labour demand model that translates customer demand and operational activities into labour hours.
- Define how traffic, transactions, deliveries, omnichannel activity, and operational complexity translate into workload requirements.
- Build logic for daily, weekly, and seasonal variation, including store format, type, and size scaling factors.
- Analyse demand, workload, productivity, and labour consumption to improve model accuracy.
- Support scenario modelling for new store formats, omnichannel initiatives, operational changes, and productivity improvements.
- Partner with Labour Standards, Workforce Management, Controlling, Operations Development, Tech, Product, and Sales Markets teams.
Requirements
- Experience in labour demand modelling, operational analytics, workforce planning, capacity planning, operational modelling, or workload forecasting.
- Experience translating demand drivers, customer activity, workload patterns, or operational volume into labour requirements.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills with experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Experience building, documenting, and maintaining operational models, assumptions, and calculation logic.
- Understanding of customer-driven environments such as retail, logistics, delivery operations, fulfilment, or warehousing.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken, is required.
