Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid position with a requirement to be based in the Netherlands for the full internship
Allowance: €625 per month for 40 hours per week, plus full reimbursement of travel expenses
Company
is a global food company offering an internship within its Global Food Safety and Quality department.
What you will do
- Support coordination, communication, and documentation for food safety and quality risk mitigation projects.
- Contribute to food safety and quality process improvement within the Global Systems team.
- Collect and consolidate information from global teams on current practices and KPIs.
- Analyze information and support the global management team in identifying standardization opportunities.
- Review existing documentation and new system standards.
- Work on projects and day-to-day business challenges; this position does not include lab work.
Requirements
- EU working rights are required: EU citizenship or enrollment at a university in the Netherlands.
- Must be enrolled at a European university for the full duration of the internship and based in the Netherlands throughout the internship.
- Be at the end of a bachelor's degree or enrolled in a master's degree in food processing, food or quality-related studies, engineering, or a similar field.
- Good written and spoken English is required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Strong communication, analytical, multitasking, project management, teamwork, and organizational skills.
