TL;DR
Principal Engineer, Test Automation (C#/.NET): Building enterprise-grade automation frameworks for REST APIs, user interfaces, integrations, and end-to-end workflows with an accent on scalable architecture, reusable libraries, and CI/CD quality gates. Focus on designing distributed-system test strategies, validating GraphQL APIs, reducing flaky tests, and solving complex cross-service automation challenges.

What you will do
- Own the enterprise automation architecture and roadmap for C#/.NET REST API, UI, integration, and workflow testing.
- Design modular frameworks with reusable libraries for service clients, page and component objects, test data, parallel execution, retries, logging, reporting, and environment management.
- Define coding standards, governance, versioning, documentation, branching, review practices, and contribution models.
- Establish CI/CD strategies for pull-request validation, smoke testing, regression testing, release qualification, and automated quality gates.
- Lead technical reviews, proofs of concept, framework migrations, tool evaluations, and resolution of complex cross-service failures.
- Mentor automation engineers and partner with architecture, software, DevOps, cybersecurity, systems, and verification leaders to embed quality throughout delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in automation engineering, architecture, or related quality engineering roles.
- Systems-oriented quality engineering experience, including understanding product architecture, service interconnections, and holistic use-case decomposition.
- Advanced hands-on C# and .NET skills, including software design principles, dependency injection, concurrency, asynchronous execution, and extensible architecture.
- Experience architecting REST API automation frameworks with RestSharp and validating GraphQL APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience with NUnit, Selenium, or Playwright, plus test data management and reusable data provisioning.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized test environments, Git, CI/CD architecture, parallel execution, automated reporting, quality gates, distributed systems, microservices, and service virtualization.
Nice to have
- Experience with Allure, Postman, Azure, Docker, infrastructure as code, message brokers, observability platforms, and cloud-native test environments.
- Experience with healthcare platforms, HL7/FHIR integrations, connected devices, or regulated software products.
- Knowledge of security, accessibility, performance, reliability, resilience, and risk-based testing.
- Familiarity with SIP infrastructure, media components, Azure services, Terraform, KEDA, container security tooling, and WebRTC.
- Experience with regulated healthcare standards, Jira, Jama, Agile/Scrum delivery, formal release-readiness reviews, or leading automation testers.
