Senior Fullstack Java & Angular Team Lead

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 2 remote days per week

What you will do

• Lead the development of scalable features and enhancements using Java, Angular, and related technologies.
• Build comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate in an agile team and support continuous delivery and improvement.
• Establish and optimize organizational and technical processes, including deployment pipelines with Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, and Vault.
• Address technical architecture, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud deployment strategies.
• Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices and innovative solutions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of fullstack development experience, including technical team leadership.
• Strong expertise in Java with Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Maven, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, and microservices architecture.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills focused on effective development processes.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.
• Communicative English proficiency in spoken and written communication is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps tools such as ArgoCD and Vault.
• Certifications or additional expertise in cloud architecture or automation technologies.
