TL;DR
Junior .NET Backend Developer – Risk & Automation Tools (.NET/Financial Technology): Developing, maintaining, and testing backend components and automated tests for credit risk applications with an accent on C#, Web API, SQL/T-SQL, ORM tools, and CI/CD integration. Focus on designing unit, integration, and functional tests, improving application performance, and supporting deployment and documentation in an Agile environment.
Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid work model. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

provides technology services for a client in the financial industry, supporting credit risk and automation systems.
What you will do
- Develop, maintain, and test backend components for critical credit risk applications.
- Gather requirements, assess existing processes, and propose performance improvements.
- Support deployment, integration, and technical documentation using XL Release and XL Deploy.
- Design and maintain unit, integration, and functional automated tests.
- Work according to Agile methodologies and contribute to the stability of risk management tools.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of backend development experience, preferably in finance or risk-related domains.
- Strong knowledge of C#, Web API, SQL/T-SQL, and ORM or Micro-ORM tools such as Dapper.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as NUnit or Selenium.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, Git, Azure DevOps, and deployment tools.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, WebForms, or MVC.
- Fluent English at minimum B2 level and an existing legal right to work in the European Union are required.

- Experience with Telerik Kendo UI.
