Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable .NET services and REST APIs powering commerce and payment capabilities.
• Deliver payment gateway integrations and support regional payment methods for hirify.global subscribers.
• Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain reliable customer-facing commerce services.
• Advocate for non-functional requirements, cost-effective solutions, and sound technical decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Data, Operations, QA, SDET, database, and engineering teams.
• Coach engineers and contribute to the platform’s architectural direction.

Requirements

• Proven experience with C# and .NET Core web application development.
• Proven experience designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework Core.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, Docker containerisation, web security, and microservice architectures.
• Clear communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative, creative, and reliable approach to complex problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Architecture design and ADR/RFC documentation experience.
• Experience with commerce systems and payment providers.
• Knowledge of Zuora development.
• Experience with AWS, Secrets Manager, background services, or another cloud provider.
• Foundational Angular knowledge.
