Senior System Business Analyst (Credit and Lending)

Location: Hybrid model with 1 day per week onsite in Warsaw, Poland

What you will do

• Analyse business and system requirements for complex banking systems, with a focus on credit and lending.
• Lead analytical workstreams independently from requirements definition through implementation and testing.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, system behaviour, business rules, and UML models.
• Analyse integrations between banking systems and contribute to technical solution design using REST APIs, microservices, SOA, and distributed architectures.
• Run requirements and solution workshops, challenge assumptions, and propose alternative solutions.
• Coordinate with Developers, Testers, Product Owners, and business users throughout implementation and testing.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in system analysis.
• Strong business and system requirements analysis skills, including independent ownership of analytical topics.
• Strong knowledge of SOA, REST, Web Services, microservices, distributed architectures, and SQL.
• Practical experience with Postman or SOAP UI, Swagger/YAML REST documentation, UML, and CASE tools, preferably Enterprise Architect.
• Strong stakeholder and workshop management skills, with the ability to challenge requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Fluent Polish and English at minimum B2 level are required.

Nice to have

• Banking, credit, or lending domain experience.
• Experience analysing or designing credit processes, credit applications, or decision processes.
• Experience in complex enterprise banking environments.
