Senior System Analyst (Banking)

Location: Flexible hybrid model with 1 day per week onsite in Warsaw, Poland

What you will do

• Analyse and clarify business and system requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Lead analytical workstreams independently from requirements through implementation and testing.
• Design business processes, system behaviour, business rules, user interface mock-ups, and UML models.
• Analyse system integrations and contribute to technical solution design using REST APIs, microservices, SOA, and distributed architectures.
• Run requirements and solution workshops and coordinate analytical topics with stakeholders, Developers, Testers, and Product Owners.
• Support implementation, testing, and business users throughout solution delivery.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of system analysis experience.
• Strong business and system requirements analysis skills, including the ability to challenge requirements and propose alternative solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SOA, REST, Web Services, microservices architecture, and distributed IT systems.
• Practical experience with Postman or SOAP UI, Swagger/YAML REST service documentation, UML, CASE tools, and preferably Enterprise Architect.
• Good SQL knowledge and strong workshop and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Polish and English at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have

• Banking, credit, or lending domain experience.
• Experience designing credit processes and complex enterprise banking systems.
