Engineering Technician (EPG Semi Fab)

What you will do

• Perform design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level issues in electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and corrective actions.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on semiconductor manufacturing platforms.
• Prepare logbooks, test procedures, quality notifications, and other engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Follow clean-room, equipment, health, safety, and security procedures.

Requirements

• Proficiency in a range of analytical processes and procedures for assigned technical work.
• Ability to read and work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal descriptions.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems using existing procedures and precedents.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb ladders and stairs, work in tight spaces, and lift equipment or materials for extended periods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to work in a semiconductor clean room with required personal protective equipment and safety procedures.
