Manufacturing Technician (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Singapore, SGP; onsite cleanroom work

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
• Troubleshoot equipment, identify and correct errors, perform repairs, and install software or carry out computer programming when required.
• Receive and inspect parts, audit inventory, and verify that required components are available and free from defects.
• Enter progress, labor, and work expense data and complete technical documentation.
• Follow cleanroom, health, safety, security, and personal protective equipment requirements.

Requirements

• Singapore-based onsite role involving cleanroom and physically demanding work.
• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or a Diploma in an engineering or technical field.
• Candidates with or without prior experience may apply.
• Ability to apply analytical skills and scientific methods to solve typical work-area problems using established procedures.
• Good communication skills and understanding of how the team integrates with other teams.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, use hand and power tools, distinguish colors, and operate or drive heavy machinery including forklifts.
