What you will do

• Listen to Mandarin and English audio and produce accurate, verbatim transcriptions.
• Review, proofread, and correct transcripts for grammar, accuracy, and consistency.
• Apply annotations, tags, contextual notes, and required formatting standards.
• Identify and resolve unclear speech, accents, overlapping dialogue, and ambiguous content.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and provide linguistic insights for AI training.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining consistent transcription quality.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Mandarin fluency with excellent listening and comprehension skills.
• Strong Mandarin audio transcription and English listening comprehension skills.
• Professional attention to detail, proofreading, and quality-control abilities.
• Ability to follow transcription standards, formatting requirements, and quality guidelines.
• Ability to manage tasks and deadlines independently in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Professional Mandarin transcription or audio annotation experience.
• Experience with transcription or annotation platforms.
• Experience working with Mandarin-English bilingual audio.
• Interest in AI training, speech recognition, and language technology.
