Cloud Security Architect (AWS)

What you will do

• Design high-level and low-level security blueprints for secure public and private cloud environments, with a focus on AWS.
• Establish cloud security standards, policies, roadmaps, and controls covering firewalls, SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention, encryption, and IAM.
• Conduct threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, risk analysis, and remediation planning.
• Design secure VPCs, subnets, network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and API gateways.
• Monitor cloud and application environments, investigate anomalies, support Tier 3 response, and automate incident response and triage.
• Embed security tooling, testing, and automation into CI/CD pipelines and produce technical security documentation and reports.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud security, including significant cloud architecture and design experience.
• Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Experience with network security, virtualization, Docker, Kubernetes, and API security.
• Deep understanding of cryptographic protocols, techniques, and configurations.
• Ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, QA, Compliance, ISMS, and DevOps teams and communicate technical risk clearly.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security, or Azure Security Engineer are required.
