Senior System Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm CET.

What you will do

• Design and implement advanced patch management and vulnerability management strategies.
• Establish security baselines and hardening standards for Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, and network devices.
• Manage antivirus solutions and improve malware detection and removal capabilities.
• Develop and implement security solutions for new and existing systems and applications.
• Train internal teams on cybersecurity best practices and collaborate with IT teams to resolve security issues.
• Maintain the deployment web platform using Python and support planned daily or out-of-hours activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive cybersecurity experience with patch management, vulnerability management, hardening, and antivirus management.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.
• Required certification such as CISA, CISSP, or an equivalent qualification.
• Expert-level proficiency in scripting languages and Linux systems administration.
• Strong analytical, consultative, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Intune, CloudIQ, AirWatch/Workspace One, and Defender.
