What you will do

• Administer and accurately record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Position radiation beams accurately and deliver prescribed doses according to treatment plans.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans, complete simple monitor-unit calculations, and create custom molds and blocks when required.
• Support patient scheduling, billing information submission, clinical instruction, and a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Valid state license for radiation therapy is required.
• Ability to sit regularly, stand and walk occasionally, and lift or move up to 30 pounds when needed.
