Collections Associate (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage pre-collection activities and resolve past-due customer accounts.
• Recommend corrective actions for delinquent accounts according to established policies and procedures.
• Prepare account status reports and document customer interactions in internal systems.
• Initiate and monitor automatic and manual payment reminders.
• Document and initiate account write-offs for processing.
• Apply client policies and guidelines while handling assigned collection tasks.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience handling collections for delinquent accounts.
• Strong ability to analyze customer accounts, identify discrepancies, and assess collection and due diligence risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional customer interaction and negotiation.
• High accuracy and attention to detail when managing account records and documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
