Plant Operator (Oil and Gas)

Location: Jurong Terminal, Singapore. Full-time onsite role with rotating shift work. Relocation will not be considered within hirify.global parameters. The selected candidate will work under the Singapore local payroll system and benefits.

What you will do

• Operate and monitor VII blending, filling, additive decanting, thermal oil heater, and related plant processes using Yokogawa DCS.
• Handle polymer bales, collect process samples, submit samples for laboratory analysis, and support lubricant blending plant sampling.
• Support base oil vessel receipt, jetty transfer operations, tank gauging, inventory reconciliation, and stock counts.
• Operate weighbridge systems, complete SAP loading transactions, and generate delivery documentation.
• Support PTW and field LOTO activities, perform shift inspections, record operating parameters, and report equipment abnormalities.
• Train new operators and contractors while participating in operational improvement and troubleshooting activities.

Requirements

• Diploma in engineering, chemical process technology, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in lubricant blending, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, or oil and gas operations.
• Working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and Human Machine Interface systems.
• Ability to perform rotating shift work and work comfortably at heights when required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Work in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits; relocation is not considered.

Nice to have

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
• Work-at-Height certification.
• Experience in bulk liquid handling, tanker receipt operations, or blending processes.
• Basic understanding of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.
