Tax Director - Private Client Service (PCS) HNW

Location: Santa Rosa, California, United States. Candidates within a 45-minute commute of a hirify.global office are expected to follow a hybrid work schedule.

What you will do

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses.
• Lead sophisticated tax planning and research projects across individual, trust, estate, gift, and business taxation.
• Advise clients on minimizing federal, state, and local tax liabilities, wealth preservation, succession planning, liquidity events, and business transitions.
• Manage multiple client engagements and oversee timely, high-quality service delivery.
• Supervise tax associates, review their work, and provide leadership, counseling, and career guidance.
• Contribute to business development and delegate work across the tax team.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on tax.
• BS or BA degree in accounting or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.
• Licensed CPA or EA certification.
• Experience researching and overseeing complex tax issues and projects across varied entities and industries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule when residing within 45 minutes of a hirify.global office.
