Undergrad Intern - Business Development (Biotech)

Location: Thousand Oaks, California, United States; students must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Salary: $28.87 per hour

What you will do

• Support Business Development deal teams on mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing transactions.
• Analyze competitive landscapes across therapeutic and geographic areas to identify potential targets.
• Build financial valuation, transaction, and scenario-analysis models.
• Support transaction planning, deal structuring, negotiations, and Business Development operations.
• Prepare materials for governance meetings, cross-functional teams, and the final presentation to the Business Development organization.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States for the full internship program.
• Must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
• Must complete at least one year of study before the internship and remain enrolled after the program.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the program.
• Must be available to work a full-time schedule.

Nice to have

• Studies in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, chemical engineering, another scientific field, or pre-medicine.
• Interest in healthcare, biotechnology, and business.
• Understanding of basic financial principles and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Prior work experience and the ability to collaborate on complex assignments in a fast-paced environment.
