Medical Assistant (Primary Care)

Location: Wauseon, Ohio, United States; onsite clinical role

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Room patients, clean and stock exam rooms, and gather updated health information for providers.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist visits, and care outside the clinic.
• Document accurate patient data, process test results, and communicate results according to provider instructions.
• Collaborate with the care team on individualized patient plans and identify gaps in care.
• Conduct patient outreach and maintain clinical supplies and treatment equipment.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
