What you will do

  • Lead technical responses to high-severity incidents across enterprise, identity, endpoint, cloud, product, production, data center, and operational technology environments.
  • Set investigation hypotheses and evidence priorities, reconstruct attack paths, determine root cause, and establish credible incident scope.
  • Define containment, eradication, credential and session invalidation, recovery validation, and heightened monitoring strategies.
  • Build tested, version-controlled response engineering capabilities for evidence collection, enrichment, correlation, timeline generation, blast-radius analysis, and remediation tracking.
  • Convert red-team findings, incident evidence, and threat intelligence into detections, preventive controls, response actions, and regression tests.
  • Define safe AI-assisted and agentic response workflows with human approval, evidence provenance, validation, auditability, rollback, and emergency-stop controls.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in incident response, security engineering, offensive security, detection engineering, vulnerability management, or a related technical security discipline.
  • Experience leading complex, high-severity incidents in cloud-scale, hybrid, or globally distributed environments.
  • Hands-on investigation experience across Linux and Windows hosts, cloud environments, identity systems, networks, applications, containers, and security telemetry.
  • Strong understanding of attacker behavior, including credential theft, privilege escalation, persistence, lateral movement, command and control, defense evasion, data exfiltration, and destructive activity.
  • Strong software engineering or scripting skills and experience building reliable security tooling, integrations, or automation.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional remediation, communicate technical conclusions and uncertainty, and mentor security and service teams.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative, supportive, and innovation-focused work environment.
  • Flexible workplace with autonomy in organizing the working day.
  • Performance reviews every 12 months and a progression plan tailored to professional ambitions.
