Automotive Technician (Automotive)

Location: 029106 National City Plaza, United States; onsite automotive service work.

Salary: $20.13–$30.25 per hour, with flat-rate performance-based compensation.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries, parts, and perform electrical system checks.
• Maintain and repair tires.
• Road test vehicles and support vehicle assessments.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and provide service support.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Employment requires completion of Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.
• Obtain or maintain an A.S.E. certification in at least one A1–A8 area within the first two years.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Vocational-technical education in a related field.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training and qualifications.
