Automotive Technician (Automotive)

Location: 934175 Barker Cypress, United States; on-site retail automotive service role

Pay range: $17.50–$26.30 per hour, with performance-based flat-rate compensation.

hirify.global Retail Operations operates company-owned automotive service stores across North America, including Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, and Wheel Works.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries, check electrical systems, and install vehicle parts.
• Perform tire maintenance and repair services.
• Road-test vehicles and support vehicle assessments and repair procedures.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and answer service-related questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of oil changes, vehicle inspections, tire repair, and general automotive maintenance.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Obtain or maintain an A.S.E. certification in at least one area from A1–A8 within the first two years of employment.
• Temporary work authorization or the need for visa sponsorship may disqualify candidates; Form I-9 verification is required.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a related vocational-technical program.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent external training and qualifications.
