Production Supervisor, 3rd Shift (Medical Devices)

Location: Athens, Texas, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Supervise department production employees and direct daily activities to ensure timely availability of high-quality products.
• Schedule resources and equipment, balance throughput, maintain floor-stock inventory, and support production goals and customer service levels.
• Drive continual improvements in safety, quality, production processes, and cGMP compliance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Materials Management, Quality Assurance, and cross-functional management to resolve production constraints and operational issues.
• Lead employee training, coaching, goal setting, performance feedback, and salary administration.
• Support annual operating budgets, manage variances, and communicate production needs and strategic priorities.

Requirements

• AA/AS degree with 4 years of direct line supervisory experience in an industrial environment, or BA/BS degree with 2 years of direct line supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of medical components and ISO, cGMP, FDA, and ISO 13485 quality requirements.
• Experience or equivalent on-the-job training in industrial production supervision.
• Ability to work onsite in Athens, Texas, on the 3rd shift.
• Ability to lead production employees, communicate with cross-functional management, and drive teamwork and results.
