What you will do

• Demonstrate driving practices and operational behaviors to the highest safety standard.
• Deliver structured behind-the-wheel instruction for trainees at a ratio of up to 3:1.
• Assess trainee competency, approve progression, apply remediation, and recommend removal when safety standards are not met.
• Provide individualized, constructive feedback while maintaining consistent safety requirements.
• Support and mentor driver-instructors during large training classes.
• Maintain training records, assessment logs, incident documentation, and safety-review inputs.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore Class 3 or 3A driving licence held for at least five years, with no demerit points during the past three years.
• Experience as a driving instructor, trainer, or comparable coach with formal assessment responsibilities.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Must be a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid Singapore work pass.
• Ability and eligibility to travel internationally for up to eight weeks for initial autonomous-vehicle training and certification.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug screen, driving-record review, and internal driving assessment is required.

Nice to have

• Valid TDVL or PDVL, or professional or commercial driving experience in Singapore.
• Experience training drivers or operators in transport, aviation, maritime, or another regulated, safety-critical environment.
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technology, ADAS, vehicle telematics, LMS platforms, or digital training-record systems.
• Additional proficiency in Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil.
