Manager of Security Operations and Infrastructure

Location: Remote - Florida; the ideal candidate is located in the Eastern time zone. Annual travel may be required for training, team meet-ups, strategy meetings, and business or client needs.

What you will do

• Lead and mature the Security Operations program across threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
• Own daily operations of EDR, SIEM, and related security platforms, including incident escalation, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and develop SecOps Engineers through mentorship, prioritization, and career growth support.
• Provide organizational oversight for DevOps and partner with the Senior DevOps Engineer on technical direction, infrastructure decisions, and delivery execution.
• Integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle through CI/CD pipeline security, infrastructure-as-code standards, and cloud security posture management across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Support IT governance, AI governance, security strategy, roadmap planning, budgeting, and communication of security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, cybersecurity engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of people management or formal team lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR, incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts and cloud infrastructure sufficient to lead DevOps engineers and evaluate technical decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical risk into business context, with a collaborative and consensus-oriented leadership style.
• Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft and Okta security and identity platforms.
• Experience in a professional services, audit, or compliance firm.
• Exposure to SOC 2, FedRAMP, CMMC, or ISO 27001.
