Automotive Technician C Tech (Automotive)

Location: 358043 Fitchburg; onsite automotive service role in the United States. Employment requires completion of Form I-9 verification, and temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.

Pay range: $17.50–$26.30 per hour under a performance-based flat-rate compensation model. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available to first-time hires.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and parts and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and repairs.
• Road-test customer and company vehicles.
• Explain repair procedures and answer customer questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. certification from A1–A8 within the first two years; testing and registration fees are covered by the company.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a vocational-technical program in a related field.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent external training or assessment.
