Automotive Technician

Location: Frisco, United States; onsite retail service location.

Pay range: $17.50–$26.30 with performance-based flat-rate compensation. Sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 is available for new teammates.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries, check electrical systems, and install automotive parts.
• Perform tire maintenance and repair services.
• Road-test vehicles and support vehicle assessments.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and respond to service questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. certification from A1–A8 within the first two years of employment.
• Employment eligibility verification through Form I-9 is required; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a related vocational-technical program.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training or external qualifications.
