Research Area Scientific Lead (Oncology)

What you will do

• Support new antibody discovery projects across global R&D and Product Portfolio teams, including development management and troubleshooting.
• Provide oncology-focused scientific and technical expertise and lead the implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
• Set product quality and performance standards for antibodies, ELISA kits, proteins, and cell lines, and establish suitable validation methods.
• Build and manage collaborations with academic and industry scientists and Key Opinion Leaders.
• Support product development pipeline management, visibility, and progress tracking with Product Managers and R&D teams.

Requirements

• PhD in oncology with significant research and post-doctoral experience, or equivalent experience in the oncology field.
• Experience across both academic and industry settings.
• Strong proteomics, cellular biology, and molecular biology expertise, including hands-on immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, western blotting, immunocytochemistry, and ELISA.
• Significant experience with antibodies and the ability to interpret and analyse scientific data.
• Technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, organisation, independence, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.

• Experience developing and characterising antibodies.
• Commercial experience and/or project management experience.
