Business Development Manager (Government & Public Institutions)

Location: Must be based in Australia with appropriate work authorization.

What you will do

• Manage the Government and Public Institutions (GPI) opportunities pipeline, including panel applications and tender processes.
• Coordinate tender responses, ensuring high-quality, client-centric, and compliant submissions.
• Monitor market opportunities and provide qualification assessments to inform go/no-go decisions.
• Improve tender and knowledge management processes to drive commercial effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Partners and consultants to support strategic growth and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Must have appropriate approval to work in Australia.
• Tertiary qualifications or relevant professional experience.
• Experience in business development, tender management, or procurement within the public sector or professional services.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing persuasive responses.
• Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
