Assurance Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Davenport, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required

Compensation: $29–$34 per hour

What you will do

• Understand clients’ businesses, industries, accounting and control systems, values, and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues.
• Learn and apply the hirify.global audit approach and audit tools.
• Assess risks and evaluate clients’ internal control structures.
• Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
• Draft financial statements under prescribed formats.
• Communicate engagement findings with audit teams and clients.

Requirements

• At least 90 credit hours completed.
• Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Accounting major.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, computer, teamwork, multitasking, and client-service skills.
