Sr. Manager, Security Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $145,750–$204,400 annual

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of information security professionals.
• Develop and execute information security strategies, policies, standards, and long-term initiatives.
• Oversee security monitoring, threat detection, daily operations, and incident response.
• Investigate major security incidents and recommend improvements to prevention and response capabilities.
• Manage SIEM, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and other advanced security technologies.
• Lead compliance activities, audits, security assessments, and penetration tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of information security experience and 7–10 years in leadership or management preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM tools, encryption, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on cloud security experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including hybrid environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as Python and PowerShell.
