Lead Java/Angular Developer (French Speaker)

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Develop innovative solutions and operational support systems for the investment banking and financial services business.
• Design and implement backend services with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Build REST APIs and integrate frontend applications with Angular.
• Work with Kafka, SQL, MongoDB, OpenShift, CI/CD, logging, and monitoring.
• Guide technical teams and contribute to software architecture, design patterns, DDD, and code quality.

Requirements

• More than 9 years of professional experience and proven experience as a Senior or Lead Developer.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Java or Kotlin, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data, Spring Security, and REST API design.
• Experience with Kafka, SQL, MongoDB, Angular, API integration, and frontend architecture basics.
• Good understanding of OpenShift, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, software architecture, design patterns, DDD, and code quality practices.
• French is mandatory, and English is required for written and verbal communication.
