About the Role
You will design, test, and deploy high-volume Java applications, build resilient payment services, define scalable architectures, monitor performance indicators, remove bottlenecks, contribute to engineering practices and roadmaps, and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and merchants.
Requirements
- Have 8 or more years of backend service development experience
- Have hands-on experience with Core Java web services and SQL or PostgreSQL
- Have a proven record of technical leadership and mentoring
- Understand high availability fault tolerance and low latency architecture
- Understand modern API frameworks such as REST and OpenAPI
- Know API security and developer experience best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies and present findings in architectural reviews
- Communicate collaboratively and demonstrate customer empathy
Responsibilities
- Design build test and deploy Java applications
- Design highly available fault-tolerant and scalable services
- Drive engineering best practices and architecture decisions
- Contribute to product roadmap discussions
