Middle NodeJs Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Argentina — fully remote

What you will do

• Technically lead the adaptation and deployment of backend systems to multi-region AWS architectures.
• Design, build, and maintain event-driven architectures for scalable, resilient, asynchronous service processing.
• Support low-latency and high-availability backend platforms.
• Collaborate with Web, Mobile, and Product Owner teams within Scrum.
• Apply Clean Architecture and software engineering best practices to maintain code quality.
• Use AI tools to resolve technical bottlenecks and improve engineering productivity.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of backend software development experience.
• Advanced Node.js and TypeScript skills.
• Hands-on AWS development experience, including EKS containerization and orchestration.
• Advanced Kafka knowledge and required experience with event-driven architectures.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Clean Architecture, design patterns, and multi-region cloud deployments.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or high-throughput transactional industries.
• Familiarity with micro-frontends or Web/Mobile platform integrations.
