Automotive Technician

Location: 010014 East Norriton, United States; on-site automotive service role

Salary: $18.38–$27.62 per hour, with performance-based flat-rate compensation potential.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, brake, and other automotive systems.
• Install batteries and parts, check electrical systems, and perform tire maintenance.
• Road test vehicles and assist with repair procedures.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and answer service questions.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. certification from A1–A8 within the first two years.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver’s license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Two years of automotive repair experience, vocational-technical training, or demonstrated equivalent skills is preferred.
• Employment requires completion of Form I-9 verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.

• A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications and training certifications.
