Automotive Technician (Automotive)

Location: 303773 Coconut Creek, United States; onsite automotive service role

Pay range: $17.50–$26.30 with performance-based flat-rate compensation.

What you will do

• Change oil and complete scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and parts, and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and repairs.
• Road-test vehicles and assist with vehicle assessments and repair procedures.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and answer service questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and follow service procedures.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair, including oil changes, inspections, and tire repairs.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. A1–A8 certification within the first two years of employment.
• Complete Form I-9 employment eligibility verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a related vocational-technical program.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications and training certifications.
