Automotive Technician

Location: 303592 West Nashville, United States; onsite automotive service role

Salary: $16.63–$24.99 per hour, with performance-based flat-rate compensation.

What you will do

• Perform oil changes and scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and parts and check vehicle electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and repairs.
• Road-test vehicles and assist with vehicle assessments and repair procedures.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and answer service-related questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Form I-9 employment eligibility verification is required; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Vocational-technical training in a related field or demonstrated skills through certificates or assessments.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training credentials.
